Free Day on Catch of the Day

February 23rd, 2010

I haven’t been a ‘catch-a-holic’ for very long, but tomorrow they’re having a FREE DAY where you just pay postage on some items. It’s strictly a members only thing, so if you want to take a sneaky peek, I suggest you sign up at www.catchoftheday.com.au so you can take a look. It will be very interesting to see how much stuff they have on there.

Kitchenware Junkies Heaven

February 16th, 2010

If you’re addicted to Kitchenware like I am, Kitchenware Direct is a must visit website. They have THE best prices on a whole heap of stuff, including Scanpan. I always buy my Scanpan online, and when we get our new house, I’m going to get a KitchenAid mixer from them too. It’s on my ‘wish list’!

If you’re after an aluminium water bottle instead of the gazillion stainless steel water bottles we sell, the best brand is SIGG. I personally think they’re a little pricey for what they are, but they’re cute, so who cares! Buy your SIGG from Kitchenware Direct. They have the best prices on SIGG we’ve been able to buy online.

If you’re worried about the whole BPA in the linings thing, SIGG used to have BPA in their lining, but not anymore. As long as you’re buying a new one now from someone reputable, it will be fine. If you have an old SIGG bottle, you might want to do a bit of research. Apparently if the lining looks like a copper colour, its’ the old one, a pale cream colour, the new ones, but check with SIGG directly just to make sure.

Yes, I’m an online shopping junkie. It’s so much easier to let your fingers do the walking and compare products online from the comfort of your own home. There’s so many great online shops around now, even if I didn’t make them all!

One of my favourite haunts is Home Couture. They have every possible cute little knick knack you could ever want for your kitchen and so much great stuff you’ll never come across in shops. Visit this site at your own risk, you’ll get addicted to it, trust me!

Ladakh Clothing

The Ladakh label is so hard to find in shops, and if you’re ever lucky enough to find someone who stocks it, they never end up having what you want, or if they do, it’s not available in your size.

Freez Clothing in Sydney are one of the biggest Ladakh stockists around, and have two shops, but alas, I don’t live in Sydney. Luckily, they have an online shop and they have pretty much the entire range of Ladakh online.

If the thought of buying clothes online freaks you out, don’t worry, Freez will let you return products and swap the sizes or even just get a credit and pick something else.

ECO Stainless Steel Lunch Box Set

December 12th, 2009

What does every stainless steel water bottle need to share it’s life with? Yes, you guessed it, a Stainless Steel Lunch Box!! From January 2010, Shop Naturally will be selling Stainless Steel Lunch Boxes. We’ve tested out quite a few, and we’ve picked what we believe is the best one on the market in it’s price bracket.

We saw so many inferior lunch boxes that just had slip on lids like those dodgy looking biscuit tins you get from the supermarket at Christmas time, we passed on all of them. The ECO Lunch Box has two clips to keep the lid firmly in place + a bonus round tub with a bpa free plastic leak-proof lid for salad, yoghurt, dessert, whatever you like. None of the others have the bonus round tub.

RRP on the ECO Lunch Box is $26,95. When we compared it with the Lunch Bots that are at least 3 dollars dearer with no sturdy clips to keep the lid on and no bonus round tub, it wasn’t a hard decision to make to choose the ECO Lunch Box as our Stainless Steel Lunch Box choice.

Great value, great quality & in January, in conjunction with KidSpot, we’re giving away almost $500 worth of Back To School products, and the ECO Lunch Box is in the prize. Make sure you visit www.shopnaturally.com.au to enter.

We just got a whole new range of Camelbak Bottles in stock – including the ultimate Camelbak Bottle – the Camelbak Stainless Steel Better Bottle. Spill-proof and leak-proof, it’s the most expensive bottle in the store, but boy is it worth every penny!
