Two young girls sit in a shopping trolley as their mother pushes them past the grapes in the fresh produce section. One of the young girls reaches for a green grape.

The mother:
“Put that grape down, they’re dirty and bitter. Stop touching things and eat the rest of your donut and drink your soft drink.”

What I wanted to say to the mother:
While I don’t condone your children stealing grapes, their bodies were obviously craving something that isn’t 98% wheat and sugar. Stop feeding your children processed shit and maybe they’ll be a little easier to control and you won’t have to continuously bark at them and have them ignore you in return.
